Nitro Drift League
★★★★☆ 4.2
Nitro Drift League gets the one thing arcade racers must get right: the drift feels great. Touch controls could easily ruin this, but the tilt-and-tap scheme is responsive, and there's an auto-steer assist for newcomers that you can dial back as you improve.
Tracks are short and punchy, built for that one-more-run mentality. The car upgrade path is where it gets a little grindy for my taste, though you can ignore most of it and still enjoy the racing. Rubber-band AI shows up occasionally, but rarely in a way that feels cheap.
It's not a simulator and doesn't pretend to be. As a quick adrenaline hit between longer sessions, it's exactly what I want. Runs smooth even on a mid-range phone.
What we liked
- Drifting that actually feels good on touch
- Adjustable steering assist for all skill levels
- Smooth performance on modest hardware
