Big Bass Bonanza
Big Bass Bonanza is one of those games I opened expecting five minutes and closed forty later. It's a casual fishing arcade built around a simple loop: read the water, cast, and reel at the right moment. What kept me coming back is how readable everything is — the animations tell you exactly when to react, so it never feels random once you've learned the tempo.
Controls are all tap and swipe, and they're forgiving. There's a gentle sense of progression as you unlock new spots and swap tackle, but nothing forces you to grind. I played it in short bursts on a commute and it fit that perfectly. The art is bright and a little cartoonish, which suits the relaxed mood.
It won't challenge a strategy veteran the way a deep tower defence will, but that's not the point. As a palate cleanser between heavier games, it does its job well. I liked that sessions have a natural stopping point instead of nagging you to stay.
